Get a preview of the boys of summer during Cactus League Spring Training — the Angels’ home base is Tempe Diablo Stadium. Enjoy a variety of events at Tempe Town Lake and Downtown Tempe, from the Tempe Festival of the Arts to the Arizona Aloha Festival. The Innings Festival, a two-day celebration of music with a baseball theme, is a must for music lovers with performances from Dave Matthews Band, Weezer, Portugal. The Man and Death Cab for Cutie. And, of course, Phoenix Pride takes places just a light rail ride away from Tempe at Steele Indian School Park. For details and even more events, go to the Tempe Tourism event calendar.

Cocktails, anyone?
The dining scene in Tempe is always evolving and ranges from college town eats to chef-driven cuisine.

Many of Tempe’s restaurants focus on the cocktails just as much as the food. You’ll find beverages that are perfect accompaniments to menu items like the tropical Tiki Tiki Shinjuku at Kabuki Japanese Restaurant and the Paloma, with citrus flavors and tequila, at Cotton & Copper. Check out the latest Tastefully Tempe video that showcases these creative cocktails.

This FREE event will have fun for the entire family including interactive entertainment, local crafts and vendors, music, art, food and more!

The City of Albuquerque is also partnering with America Prays to support those experiencing homelessness in our community at this year’s State of the City Celebration. Attendees are invited to bring donations of canned goods and gently used clothing to the event so that these items can be distributed to trusted partners in our city to help those in need.

We hope you’ll come out to join our amazing community partners for food, fun and excitement for the whole family! The celebration begins at 10am and the formal program begins at 1pm.
